We are pleased to announce that Khansaheb Facilities Management won two exciting awards at the Middle East’s largest and most prestigious event, the Facilities Management ME Awards 2020, held ‘virtually’ for the first time ever yesterday.
Senior Facilities Manager, Thomas Friswell was awarded the highly commendable trophy in the category of ‘Young Facilities Manager of the Year’ for his creditable efforts in managing one of the company’s largest and most eminent FM projects, on which Tom and his team are responsible for maintaining over 65,000 assets across 800 outlets spread all across the Country as part of a very demanding retail contract. The judges lauded Tom’s commitment, his astute management skills and innovative approach to FM which have proved to be a touchstone for young FM professionals in the industry.
The second award that KFM brought home was that of the highly commendable- ‘HSE Initiative of the Year’, awarded for the exceptional ‘HSE Premier League’ program. Initiated by QSHE Compliance Manager Satywan Singh and his team, this idea was derived from the English Premier League and applied into the Company’s operations to drive HSE performance and behavioral change. One of the biggest challenges in the FM industry is monitoring every employee for compliance to health & safety standards and this program helped KFM in creating an interdependent safety culture within the company.
Commenting on the tremendous success, Oliver Sawle, General Manager, Khansaheb FM, said “These awards are further recognition of the teams’ dedication and commitment towards continuous improvement. The whole company is very proud of Tom, Satywan and the HSE team for winning these awards. We are delighted that our efforts are being recognised and rewarded by the Middle East FM industry and we hope to keep this momentum going and continue to live up to our brand promise.”
